Athletic Hall of Fame

The purpose of the Clintondale Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of interscholastic athletics at Clintondale High School, either by virtue of their performance on athletic teams representing Clintondale High School, or by meritorious efforts on behalf of the athletic program at the high school.

Eligibility Criteria for Induction as a Student Athlete, Coach, Athletic Administrator or Honorary Alumnus

  • If being considered for athletic accomplishments, the nominee should have at least one varsity letter and have performed at an exemplary level and been (and remains) of good character.
  • If being considered for coaching or athletic administrator accomplishments, the nominee should have spent the major part of their career at Clintondale High School, and absent any unusual or extraordinary circumstance, is no longer coaching at Clintondale. 
  • If being considered as an Honorary Alumnus, the nominee must have excelled in athletics in a sport not offered during their high school years. 
  • If a student athlete, the nominee must be out of high school at lease five years and graduated from Clintondale High School. 
  • To be considered for induction, the nominee should have been extraordinary among all Clintondale High School atheltes. 
  • A coach or athletic administrator does not have to be a graduate of Clintondale High School. 
  • A nominee may be selected posthumously. 
  • The nominee is recognized by Clintondale High School as a person of high moral character and integrity. 
  • The nominee had a significant positive impact on the student-athletes, athletic department and Clintondale Community Schools. 
  • The nominee is/was well respected by the students, peers and community. 
  • The nominee has demonstrated distinction and/or leadership in his/her career and/or philanthropic endeavors. 
  • Current C Club board members are not eligible of induction. 

Nominations are due April 15, 2026, and every four years thereafter. Nominations received after April 15 will roll into the next nominating cycle.
