How should district use its COVID funds?
CLINTON TOWNSHIP – The Clintondale Community School District is seeking input from stakeholders to help determine how the district could best utilize the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER) in order to address unfinished learning and the ongoing effects of COVID-19. As our district has many needs from classrooms to facilities, your input is very important to us.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Department of Education has released three grants for which K-12 local education agencies can apply. These ESSER grants were designed to provide school districts with emergency relief funds to address the COVID-19 impact on schools including learning recovery. These funds are designated for one-time or short-term expenditures that must meet grant guidelines and allowable expenses of the funds.
Clintondale Schools is seeking input from stakeholders to help determine how the district should utilize ESSER funds in order to address unfinished learning, ongoing COVID-19 recovery, and Federal Program grant funds.
Please take the time to complete this ESSER III survey so Clintondale Schools can consider all input in these determinations. This survey will be open until Jan. 13, 2022.
