Lewis-Moss finishes FBI class
CLINTON TOWNSHIP — Clintondale Board president Beverley Lewis-Moss has graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy program in Detroit.
Citizens Academy programs are engaging programs that last 6-8 weeks and give business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. Classes meet in the evenings at FBI field offices around the country. The mission of the FBI Citizens Academies is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education.
Lewis-Moss received a certificate and a letter from FBI director Christopher Wray.
“What you have learned will hopefully give you a unique insight into the successes or our organization as well as some of the challenges that we and our law enforcement partners face every day,” Wray wrote.
Wray encouraged Lewis-Moss to continue to be a role model “in your community and a leader in your chosen field.”
Superintendent Rodriguez Broadnax added, “We’re going to implement public support and the FBI program in the district.”
