Vaccination clinic was a success
CLINTON TOWNSHIP - The Clintondale Community School District held a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Clintondale High School conference center on Monday and Tuesday for all students, faculty and staff, and community members. The clinic was put on with assistance from Ascension Health, who operate a school-based clinic inside the high school.
There was no appointment necessary and those wanting vaccinations could get either their first or second COVID shot, or the COVID booster.
The turnout was better than anticipated with more than 30 individuals receiving vaccinations from the health system staff.
Rodriguez Broadnax, the superintendent of Clintondale Schools, said “it’s important for all of us to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
This was the second vaccination clinic held by Ascension Health at the high school.
