Key Club hosts May blood drive

Key Club hosts May blood drive

CLINTON TOWNSHIP - The American Red Cross is facing a national blood crisis – its worst blood shortage in more than a decade. Dangerously low blood supply levels are posing a concerning risk to patient care and forcing doctors to make difficult decisions about who receives blood transfusions and who will need to wait.

Clintondale students are doing their part to help further delays in vital medical treatments by hosting a blood drive next month.

The Clintondale High School Key Club and the Red Cross are holding a blood drive on Tuesday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the high school conference center.

Donors can make an appointment by calling the Clintondale Athletic Department at 586-791-6301, ext. 2621 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
