Clintondale launches new websites
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – The Clintondale Community School District’s website is receiving a refresh this month as a way to make it more navigable for current and prospective families.
We are excited to announce that on Monday, December 20 the new and improved district and individual school websites will launch.
The re-launch of our digital campus is the result of a months-long effort to improve the usability and accessibility of our online presence, streamline navigation, and update and revitalize information and resources for current and prospective families.
The new web design is intended to give users much easier access to the most sought-after information, including school calendars and breakfast and lunch menus. Efforts have been made to update and refresh outdated materials, streamline where content is stored and enhance the usability of the sites.
Here’s a quick look at some of the features you will find as you begin exploring our new sites:
Universal & Accessible Design – Our websites now have a shared design and layout, making it easier to find information from site to site. Each site optimizes its design to whatever device it is being viewed on, whether it’s a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone. Our sites also have improved accessibility for those with diverse needs.
Improved Navigation – We have simplified the main navigation systems across our sites while also making them consistent, so no more hunting for information that may be under one heading on one site and another at a different site. We have also added our Schoology menus at the top of every district and school webpage, providing quick access to frequently sought district information for students, families, staff and community members.
Improved Search Function – We have overhauled the Search tool on each site to help you find what you are looking for quickly and efficiently.
Showcase for our Schools – From dedicated spaces highlighting opportunities for students and their successes to more in-depth information about our programs and services, our new websites better reflect everything our schools have to offer.
While the vast majority of content is new, it is our expectation that we will continue to add, update, tinker and revise over the next few months. If you notice that there are important resources missing on the new site, please contact your school building principal directly.
We encourage everyone to update their bookmarks on their devices.
