Athletics

The Clintondale Dragons competes as a Division 6 school in the Michigan High School Athletic Association, and is a league member of the Macomb Area Conference. The Clintondale Community School District believes that participation in educational athletics contributes to a well-rounded education, supports students’ classroom success, and gives them skills and experiences that help them succeed in school and beyond.

Participation Requirements

All students grades 7-12 who desire to participate in interscholastic athletics must be cleared through the school nurse. No student will be allowed to try out, practice or participate with any team without proper information on file.

Middle School Athletics

The Clintondale Middle School athletics program is centered on the idea that students should have the opportunity to experience nearly every sport offered at Clintondale High School, and to have a healthy learning experience.

The C Club

The C Club is Clintondale's official booster club, which is a volunteer organization established to promote school spirit and to raise funds to provide financial support to our sports teams. Our primary purpose is to facilitate active relationships among parents, students, coaches, administrators, faculty and members of the community, while working towards establishing, organizing, promoting and supporting all Clintondale High School athletic programs based on safety and equity. Night at the Races

Join us for an evening of friends, food, and fun, as the C Club presents "A Night at the Races" to benefit Clintondale Athletics. Take a trip to the grandstands as pre-recorded horse races are narrated by a race announcer. This fun-filled event is scheduled for Friday, February 25 at Century Banquet Center in Sterling Heights.
