School of Choice

The enrollment window for Schools of Choice students is from April 1-September 27.
Macomb County Residents, as well as students (Unlimited Young 5s through grade 11) within other contiguous intermediate school districts, are welcome to apply to Clintondale Community Schools for the 2024-2025 school year, as permitted by the State's School of Choice Program. Before your student can begin the enrollment process, you first must complete a School of Choice form. Once you have received an approval letter, you may then begin the process of enrolling. By submitting the following application and following the steps listed below, your student can begin the process of becoming a Dragon!
 

Your student's journey as a member of the Clintondale family can begin in three easy steps!

1. Submit a Completed School of Choice Application With the Following Documents
a) Most Recent Report Card
b) Proof of Residency (2 items)
c) Student IEP Plan or 504 Plan (when applicable) 
d) Verification of Student Discipline From Previous School
  • Attach these forms along with the filled-out School of Choice form pdf to the email when you click the "SUBMIT HERE" button.

2. Receive Notice of Acceptance

  • You will be notified by the email address you provide in your application once your student has been approved. You will usually be notified in a week’s time of your submission.

3. Enroll!

  • Once you have been notified by email of your acceptance, you can begin the process of enrollment. You can then choose to enroll your student through our online process or in person at the Clintondale Administration Center. Your student's adventure as a Dragon awaits! *You may also come in person to pick up a School of Choice application at the Clintondale Administration Center, and we will help you through the process of applying to our School of Choice program.
