Our mission is to provide reliable, innovative, and secure technology solutions that support teaching and learning to enhance student success. We strive to ensure that all students, teachers, and staff have access to the technology they need to succeed.

The Technology Department is responsible for the management and oversight of all forms of technology in the Clintondale Community School District, including hardware, software, classroom technology integration and instruction, networking, telecommunications, student data, and security. Based in Clintondale Middle School, the department consists of a director and two tech support specialists.

Student data responsibilities include the management of the Student Information System (SIS) for grades and child accounting, state reporting, and state assessment data collection.

Student Chromebook Agreement

Student Chromebook Agreement

The Clintondale Community School District assigns a Chromebook to each student to help them succeed. The use of this Chromebook is a privilege and students should have no expectation of privacy when using their Chromebook including accessing email, files on their Google Drive, or navigating web sites.

Students that are allowed to take their Chromebook home will be assigned a carrying case as well.

Chromebooks and cases remain the property of Clintondale Community Schools and all users understand that their use will be strictly monitored by school district personnel at all times.

Students agree to only use their Chromebook for educational purposes and not use it to harm any district resources, district employees, or other students.

Students should take care of their Chromebook and case so they do not become lost or damaged. If the Chromebook or case is lost or damaged, the student and their family are financially responsible for replacement or repairs. Students should not alter their Chromebook or case in any way.

Report loss, damage, or other technical issues to the Clintondale Technology Department or the school office.

Replacement of Chromebook case: $15
Replacement of Chromebook charger: $20
Replacement of Chromebook battery: $40
Replacement of Chromebook screen: $50
Replacement of Chromebook: $250
Other repairs: Up to $100

Students will return their Chromebook and case at the end of the school year or if they choose to leave the district. If the student does not return their Chromebook and case, they will be charged the replacement fee.

By signing this agreement, you are acknowledging you have reviewed the information above and will assume the responsibilities discussed.
