ESL Teachers

Clintondale Schools is looking for two dynamic educators to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to Clintondale students. The successful candidate will manage classrooms and implement school procedures and work with school leaders and administrators to initiate school policies.

COMPENSATION
The compensation is outlined in the 2020-22 CEA collective bargaining master agreement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties as assigned by the Building Principal.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid teaching certificate with ESL endorsement (NS or YA-YT).
  • Knowledge of effective teaching methods for English learners.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.

STARTING DATE
2022-23 school year.
