Speech Pathologist (K-5 level)
The speech and language pathologist is the professional primarily responsible for the speech and language services for students with speech and communication disorders. This includes evaluation of students with suspected or identified communication disorders, and the development, management, and coordination of speech and language services.
COMPENSATION
Depends on experience and qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year and a Michigan license through LARA.
- Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the business office before expiration date of said document(s).
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.
